Home For Lunch

Since arriving home from a much needed vacation, I mentioned in my last post that life hit the spin cycle.
My parents declining health has caused everything to shift.
Last Wednesday I left home at about 9 AM, telling my husband I would be home for lunch.
After spending most of my day, sitting in the emergency room of a local hospital with my father, I missed lunch altogether.
Eventually I arrived home to a supper that my daughter had thoughtfully prepared for us.
Today I again left home at 9AM, but, unlike last week, I was home for lunch. I pulled into the driveway at the stroke of 12 noon.
Tomorrow I am babysitting the grand babies, so I am taking a day off from attending to the seniors.

I can certainly relate to your busy schedule. I'm sandwiched between caring for my 93 yr old mom and the grandchildren.

THere are some times when it seems that everything comes together and you hardly have time to breathe. I´m glad that you could spend some time vacationing.
