Testing the Central Nervous System

I’m not sure but at least I think it must be some kind of test of my nervous system. Those of you who perhaps know better can inform me otherwise. My hubby was away for September and most of October on a business trip to Australia near Sydney. For me it was a time when I could really get creative and write to my heart’s content without anyone bothering me. My cat Sid and I go along just fine. I would often eat while continuing to write. If I wanted to I took a nap in the afternoon and had no worries. Of course I looked forward to his return which was on October 29th. However since then it has been one whirlwind after another. Just as soon as I settle down at the PC I hear, “How about some coffee?” Now he can make it himself but if he asks it means he wants me to do it. Then I start to see things that have fallen to the floor but have never been picked up. When I inquire why the answer I get is that it was just too much trouble at the moment. Yet, these things still lie where they fell unless I have had the time to pick them up. Now I am way behind in my work which I had nicely organized and I have come to realize that I have to set up an entirely different kind of system. So I think that this must be a test to see how strong my nerves actually are. My hubby is lucky that he is my true soul mate and also my true love.

I think you've just had a taste of what my life is like, as a single person, though I don't have a cat. Hope things settle down into a new routine soon.

Of course, it is easier to work on your own time and schedule when you are alone. But don't you just enjoy his company?
