The Walking Dead Episode: My Thoughts on Morgan

I finally got round to watching the previous episode of the walking dead last night. I watched the episode where the full episode was centered around Morgan and his back story. I was putting off watching it as I thought it would be a boring episode, but I was surprised to find myself really engaged into the story and the whole episode kept my interest. I still don't quite understand the motto that all life is precious, because near the end of that episode the evil man from the tribal group said if he was set free he would kill everyone including the little kids. I think in that case, it warranted Morgan to end that evil mans life to save the life of others? What do you think?

I think that was the point - Morgan doesn't get it either. He is trying to be like Eastman and convert the Wolf away from the Dark side but fails because the Wolf is totally unreachable and as evil as the one man Eastman allowed to die but Morgan hasn't given up hope yet, which could be tragic later.

@gudheart yes, for sure - certainly not likely to end with a big happy musical number

I am not really sure about that code they have, doesn't make sense against evil people like that.

I am probably the only person on earth that has never watched it. I have a son that does.

I did not like the episode which I thought was overlong. I think Morgan is symbolic of the liberal attitude: he will not kill as he seemingly has no clue to the real dangers and his actions has deadly consequences.
