These are the types of things that made us stop ourselves with what we have been dreaming, stopping us from reaching our goals. Distractions can affect us emotionally/mentally. Distractions can also be by the means of being lazy, doing other things instead, we procrastinate too much, to the point where we don't do what we have to do. Also by the people that surrounds us they either tell you things that bring you down and will give you reasons, that you shouldn't be listening to, that will affect us.

I get distracted by my cat. Constantly. He's always doing something trying to get my attention when I am busy with something besides him.
