The colour pink #cancer / myLot

I lost two close friends to cancer this week, I keep asking myself why?! They were so young, and vibrant ,they had families, children, and husbands. Cancer just took them away!! ?? How does a dad say to his child mommy is gone?????? Will they ever find a cure for this awful killer?! Is there anything we can really do to prevent it?

Not sure about a cure.They have come a long way.As for me have this similar problem and need an injection once a week to keep afloat.They have done wonderful things on many of the cancer type. Maybe some.But this will be awhile.Sorry,to hear the loss of your friends there.

There is no 'cure for cancer' because cancer is a large number of very different diseases. The best we can hope for is to attack each, one by one until the number of fatal ones is reduced. As for preventing it, that also depends on the type - some are almost 100% preventable, others impossible to prevent.
