Just wondering if you have sensitive skin like me. I've struggled with finding the right astringent or toner, shampoo and even lotion for years til I read on the internet about some kitchen staples that would do wonders. I've tried one or two but here are the best: 1. extra virgin olive oil - great as a leave on hair conditioner and a skin moisturizer from head to toe. No more dry skin! The vitamin E of this oil is wonderful. I can even tell a healthy skin that was only made to appear that way by chemically based ingredients to one that is made by natural vitamin E. You just have to invest in a good smelling cologne as there is a risk of smelling like a salad when you use extra virgin olive oil from head to toe. Also make sure you rub it in til your skin absorbs it. You won't try any other lotion anymore. 2. lime - in our place it is called kalamansi. The acidity is good that when mixed with honey and put in the last rinsing water for the face would close pores and control oil. We have one here made by SM Bonus and it's great! Just be sure to rinse again with plain water after leaving the water with lime / kalamansi with honey mix on your face for one minute. 3. vinegar - white vinegar would do. About 2 tbps. of it once a week on the last pail of rinsing water in the bath and it's better and less expensive than any clarifying shampoo and body scrub. Disclaimer: Again this is just for very sensitive skinned people. If you can get away with using the regular over the counter toiletries good for you. You have any beauty staple in your cupboard?
