Why do we encounter Rejections?

Who among you guys encountered Rejections before? How did you survive that Rejections? Why do we feel sometimes that we are Being rejected Even if they don't show it to you but You can feel it. Yet you know yourself your doing everything just to please them. Why do other people hard to please sometimes?
Am I the only one experiences Rejections?

I faced it a year and a half back when I was in the Southern part of my country!! I never have any problem with different traditions, infact I like learning new things! But people out there aren't as open to their own countrymen!! Sad but true!! I am saying they are bad people, but they need to open up their mind as well!!!
Till the point we were in a training batch, and they needed help they all were pretending to be good friends. Once it got over I was sidelined and ignored completely!!
I went to a point where I celebrated my bday alone!!! Not even one of my colleague bothered to wish me!!
Now I just don't care about rejections!! I learned a valuable lesson that all I need is an open mind, a happy face and my family!!

I'm sorry about that. I can't imagine that their are people that are only good to you when they needed you & benefits something from you but after that they will ignored you as if they don't know you.
Yes! Good thing we have our family that really appreciate us.

@Rationalwriter yes & that's what is important that you learned something from that experience...
Yes ! I also have the same story as yours... I'm from a rural place and my family decided to stay in the urban area which is a lot different from where I grew up. It's really hard to cope at first because people underestimate you if they knew that your from rural or province... They don't listen to you & just ignored you because your just new in that place. But now look at them those people who didn't trust & just ignored me before are the ones who are approaching me now. I had learned that even though how you think yourself superior in whatever way we also need to accept new people sometimes wherever that person came from & who he/she is.

Cliques is a common thing. One finds it everywhere, even here. But there is plenty of fish in the ocean. At the slightest hint that you are not wanted you should chuck that group or individual out from your life and move on.

Yes I also feel that same thing while doing my job. While I fo for increment of salary and after talking with manager I felt that what happened if they rejected my application.
