Exams and Civics

My daughter is in the seventh grade this year. She was doing her exams this past week. I started thinking about when I was in school. I may be wrong, but I thought civics was taught in the sixth grade. We do live in a different state than when I was little. I came from Va. and we now live in Florida. Is the schooling different or is it the state? When did your child have civics? Did they have exams?

I hope you do not take the trouble to teach your daughter. She will get all wrong because of you! I think she can manage on her own, and you just have to pet her and tell her how clever she is.

With the animals in this house I pet everyone. Luckily for me she is clever enough to learn it on her own.
