I feel for the QB who just threw an interception in the end zone

I am sort of a semi-Philadelphia Eagles fan. The Eagles are our local team here, and I give them at least a small amount of my loyalty. But I've never been a fan of Mark Sanchez, the Eagles' backup QB. But at this moment I feel for him. The Eagles are trailing 20-19 in their game against the Miami Dolphins. Sanchez, who came in when Philly's starting QB was hurt, had driven the Eagles down almost to the Miami goal line. I thought the worst that could happen would be for them to settle for a field goal and a very vulnerable 22-20 lead. But then Sanchez threw a pass into the end zone that was intercepted. It wasn't a good pass, and probably never should have been thrown. Since I don't live and die with this team, I normally probably wouldn't care that much. But then they showed Sanchez's face when he realized his throw had been intercepted. The anguish I saw there makes me sympathize with him. At least for a moment or two.

As a sports type person myself, I would hate to kick the ball in the wrong goal.
