Fitbit or Vivofit?

I've been thinking of getting a Fitbit for a while now, but can't decide which one to get. There is the Fitbit, the Fitbit Charge, and the Fitbit Charge HR. Then there is the Garmin version of a Fitbit, the Vivofit. The Vivofit is significantly less expensive than the Fitbit, but it's not one I've heard of as much. Of the Fitbits, the regular one is the least expensive, but I like some of the features on the Charge and the Charge HR. The Vivofit has some features that I like better than the Fitbit, like the ability to see how many steps I've taken without having to sync it to my phone or the computer but doesn't have some of the other features I like that the Fitbits have. I know a few people that have a Fitbit, but no one that has a Vivofit, so I can only go by what the reviews say. Do you have one of these? Do you like it? Which would you get?

I have the Fitbit Charge HR. If I could do it all over again, I would buy the same thing. There are many benefits to the tracker. They send you all sort of detailed information, for free. I love the weekly print out that is sent via email. They continue to make improvements. Lately, they added a wonderful chart on the heart rate. I could plainly see the moment I tripped, went flying and landed on the pavement. My heart rate soared to 140.

That's one of the ones I like, unfortunately it is a little out of my price range right now. If I didn't have to worry about the cost it's probably the one I would go with. Since I do have to worry about the cost, I'm looking more at either the Fitbit Flex or the Garmin Vivofit. Both have their benefits and drawbacks.

My sister uses a fitbit, She loves hers and connects to her computer. I've never heard of the other.

I hadn't either until I saw it on the store website. It's significantly less expensive, which I like, but I don't know anyone that has tried it so I have no idea how good it really is.
