How to Avoid Dull and Damaged Hair?

Recently, I wrote about some possible reasons why hair is prone to damage. Now, I will be sharing some tips on how to protect your hair from damage and make it healthier. Washing hair less often Yes, you read it right, washing your hair less often. It may sound weird but it helps. Actually, not washing your hair regularly can make your hair healthier because of its natural oils that helps to make your hair smooth and softer. Trimming or Cutting Trimming or cutting your hair may also help. Trim your hair once every 2-3 months to prevent from having split ends. Right Food Eating the right food will make your hair healthier. Eat foods that are rich in protein like eggs and meats. Avoid Heat Don’t stay too long under that sun. Also, avoid using heated tools such as blow dryers and irons. Water Drinking plenty of water will also help not only your hair but also your body. I'm happy to share these to you.

yes many people think washing hair a lot to keep it clean is good but they dry it out washing out the natural oils which not only protect it but give it a shine. washing it 1-2 times a week is good enough to keep it clean and still allow it to keep a healthy look

Just have proper oiling on your scalp specially in winters.

EXCELLENT advice and I am one who loves my locks, I have never color treated them, wash them only twice a month with a non-sulfate shampoo and do not blow dry it or crimp iron or curl irons, too harsh for the precious oils. I also take Vitamin E supplement twice a week
