Cricket is the game which has taught me vital things of life. It showed me what team spirit is. It is a game of the selfless. Playing for each other & sacrificing yourself for the betterment of the team is the most important thing it has taught me. And above all, it kept me fit & showed me the importance of fitness. Indeed it is a gentleman's game & should be played by everyone at least once in life.

@whiteream Cricket is not at all like tennis. It is more like Baseball. One needs to have good skills, good concentration, patience, fitness to excel in this sport.

I love cricket too and did play it once. I was bowled first ball with a very slow ball!

Well rushikesh you are right but cricket is no more gentleman's game. Corruption and match fixing destroyed sportsmanship of this game.

@funtool I agree with you but a true lover I always see the positives in the game and try to give a blind eye to all the conspiracies. But yes, as you say corruption is on the rise.
