Do you use a camera or a phone to make photos.

Last year I decided to separate my phone and my camera. A lot of mobiles have great cameras but still I preferred to use a phone for calling and a bit of telegram but to make pictures I use a camera. Do you have a camera or do you prefer a mobile to shoot pictures?

I have a camera, but it's only a basic 'point and shoot'. The photos usually come out ok.

Mine is point and shoot but perfectly adequate for what I want. And it's light and small. Ideal for me.

for ordinary use there is nothing wrong with a point and shoot.

@peterstreep Why shoud this be snobbish? I find it the right thing to do.

@peterstreep I see a lot of really nice pictures taken with cell phones.

@MALUSE you are right, there is a huge difference between a camera from a mobile and a DSLR camera. But I think if you use a camera to make pictures you are more concious about what you are doing, even if you just use a point and shoot one.

I carry a camera everywhere I go. I hardly even know how to use the camera in my phone. I never bothered to learn because it doesn't take good photos.

@gina great to hear that I'm not the only one who is not used to make pictures with the mobile phone.

thanks Amnabas, in a way it's quick and easy to use your phone.

I agree with you amnabas. Your phone is always with you and you can stop and just take your pictures rather than fumble around trying to find the camera.

Camera is first choice but my phone is great in a pinch.

I don't have a cell phone but I do have an iPad, I love my camera first but while traveling it is easier to take photos with the iPad and sent them to my friends and family.

I use the camera on my phone although I have a digital camera but haven't used it in so long I have forgotten how it even works.

My husband loves taking photos and has a biggish camera. I just have a point and shoot type. We'd only use the phone for photos if we didn't have our cameras handy.

I use a camera. I have two of them, one light and easy, and one a bit bigger and more cumbersome, but it takes better pictures. For a place like myLot, the small one is fine. My phone is very basic, and it takes really crappy pictures.
