For the past few days, I have been battling with high fever (39.3 Celsius or 103 Fahrenheit). The doctor prescribed a total of 6 types of medication, including a few tablets of so-called "high fever" medication. The medication was little use except to cause gastric problem. The high fever just did not seem to go away. On the third day, I struggled to get out of the house, visited the traditional Chinese medicine practitioner. The medicine finally works. When I asked TCM doctor for the reason for persistence high fever. He just said "heatiness". I think that is a vague reason that covers all kinds of illnesses. Anyway, the medication works. That's the most important thing. It is still cheaper and better than staying in the hospital.

I'm glad you're better. Sometimes traditional medicine can do a much better job than conventional modern medicine.

It is much cheaper to use herbs-based medication too. I think many tests done in hospitals are redundant, and they are very costly too. In the end, the doctors may not even know what to do since the tests may come back all negatives.
