Lazy Wednesday Morning

Well, not that lazy. I did get up at 5:45am and let the dogs out, got their breakfast to them, and fed the front door cats. Then I made a cup of coffee and sat down to check my email.
K didn't get up until well after I did. She had worked hard yesterday getting the house cleaned up for the holidays and I thought she deserved to sleep in. Now she's elbow deep in baking and cooking for tomorrow.
Are you working today, cooking, or just taking it easy?

Baking maybe later...putting up outside lights soon....made cranberry sauce...bugged my husband...that's a day's work right there.

@DWDavis I've seen those - problem being a few years ago I bought several hundred dollars worth of the new lights to use on a tree, then last year we bought a pre lit tree, so those lights have to be used someplace so my husbnad will forget we didn't really need them.

@AbbyGreenhill Our outside lights were getting to the point of needing to be replaced this year and my wife saw an add for the Star Shower on TV. We happened to see them at Bed, Bath and Beyond so thought we'd give it a try.

I'm working for five hours starting at 11 at part-time job. The store sells everything for birding enthusiasts like seed, feeders, peanuts and it is a busy time of year.

I can never actually take it easy with 3 children but I am going to try to get some relaxing time in today at some point. I didn't get much sleep last night.
