Happy Thanksgiving and only two more weeks to go!!!

I hope my American friends had a blessed Thanksgiving. I only had one plate and I am stuffed. I couldn't even eat My Favorite Pumpkin Pie (In caps because this is what I call a pumpkin pie recipe I have been using for years) even though I did burn it. Though it wasn't really my fault other than forgetting to turn the oven from "preheat" to "bake" but with some scrapping off some of the top, it is edible, once I am hungry again. I have only two more weeks of school. I have my math review and the Geology review for my finals already printed so I can study them even when I am not around a computer. I am feeling a little melancholy though, so I picked a few teachers to visit/meet before this semester is over. I met my Psychology instructor yesterday (I say met because I took a majority of my classes online) and I am looking forward to meeting my first English Comp instructor who was encouraging when I told her I wrote a novel and she told me she had published a couple books. Have you ever gone back to visit a teacher, whether from college, high school, or even from earlier grades? At my age I'm sure my high school teachers are no longer around, so I am glad to be able to visit some of my college professors before I leave.

I can tell that you have a strong attachment to the school .You will miss those teachers after you finish studying .Glad you will have more time on your hands soon .perhaps you will devote most of it to writing by then .

Sure sounds like you had a good teacher or teachers but it is nice when you finish school and have more time for other things.

@Carmelanirel2 There is always one or two teachers who the students have a problem with but the good teachers make up for the bad ones. Glad you are meeting with the nice teachers.

@changjiangzhibin89 and @Marcyaz I had some really good teachers, and then I had some really bad ones (it wasn't me, most if not all students had trouble with this one teacher). I am disappointed that I won't be able to meet the one math teacher, but next Monday I will meet with another math teacher and then next Thursday I will meet with two of my English teachers.

Good for you wanting to meet some of your teachers that were online. I have never entertained the idea of going back and meeting teachers. I only had a few teachers I even thought about. Great you only have two more weeks of school left to go.

Unfortunately there is one I can't visit because she is no longer at this school. She was one of my math instructors and since math is me weakest subject, you know she had to be good if I liked her. lol

No, I've never gone back to visit teachers but I'm sure that it could have been interesting if I did.

@Carmelanirel2 I'm 59 years old so I'm sure that quite a few of the teachers I had are all gone now.
