Hi Martin, hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving day. I am thankful for so many things in my life like my family, friends, pets, home and vehicle and for living in the USA.

I don't have much, but I'm extremely thankful for what I have and especially for good health. I try to be thankful every day because I'm an American and there is always someone worse off in some part of the world.

@GreatMartin No correction thank you. I meant "some part of the world". There aren't many worse off then me in America. Even the poorest here is rich compared to so many in the world who don't have the hand outs we have. Try trying to live as a Christian in the middle of an islamic country in the Middle East. Sorry to lecture.

Happy ALL holidays
@PrarieStyle There aren't many worse off then me in America. No? I live in subsidized housing--I don't have a car--I am considered 'medical needy'--and I can go on--I can't even afford a pet!!! Hand outs???? Okay it is that season so I won't go into it all but as long as I wake up in the morning I have it made!!

I am thankful for every morning I wake up! I have just one correction to your last sentence ".....there is always someone worse off in another part of America."

Amen to that, we have food and shelter things that large portions of the world don't take for granted.

I am very thankful for what I have. I worked hard for my money and so did my husband and we are both grateful for what we have.

I have a roof over my head, food in my belly and clothes on my back--add to that getting up every day so even without a car, no money I have what I need! :O)

You are so right! Although I did miss spending Thanksgiving with my grandkids, my brother and I had a great day together.

I have athlete's foot and a crippling mortgage, but I'm guessing that's not what you mean. Hope you had a great day.

Is that all?? I have COPD, PED, high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, Afib--and those aren't the main problems but I don't have a mortgage so I guess I have more to be thankful than you do!! LOL

Actually every day is a day to be thankful. Most of us forget about it until something happens to someone else, then we start to count our blessing. I think pay day is a day of happiness, though most people still forget to be thankful.
