Day 9 – Praise 1 Chronicles 16 We all like praise, but how often do we give it? Parents are continually told to praise their children for the good they do. Yet I have heard many stories about parents who do just the opposite and criticize everything their child does. One of the things David was famous for was praising God. If you look at all that David did, you will see his life is a life of praise to God for all God did for him and the more David praised Him, the more God helped him. Aren’t we the same? If someone praises us for what we’ve done, don’t we want to continue doing those things that bring us praise? In the same regard we need to give praise to those who do things beyond our expectations. Today we hear a lot about random acts of kindness – people doing the unexpected and bringing joy to someone’s life. We all need to do random acts of kindness to the point where it becomes second nature to us and we will live our lives in praise for all the wonderful things God brings our way. When we do we will find a new focus directed at others instead of at self. Let’s pray: Father, help me to give praise instead of expecting it. Let my life be one of praise for all You have done for me. In Jesus’ name, I pray, amen. Copyright © 27 November 2015 by Valerie Jean Routhieaux Image courtesy of Pixabay

I will always give praises to God first and foremost and will also make it a point give words of appreciation to anyone who deserves it.

Another good study..... its true when we praise God.... we get closer go Him and in doing so... walk closer with Him... which leads us to love others in a way to 'build them up' and encourage them....thanks for sharing....

And more so may we learn to give Him praise for all He does for us even when we don't deserve it

It is when we feel we least deserve it, that praising God brings more blessings.
