And its all over...

Well the Thanksgiving holiday is over. I feel like I am still stuffed, maybe because I have been eating on leftovers since. I feel like I am still coming down from all the excitement from it all. Today was another busy day filled with shopping and cleaning the house. Laying salt on the side walks after the winter storm we had. It took 30 minutes to thaw my car, mainly because I didn't have an ice scraper. I think I did pretty good using the defrost and a credit card. But, on another note, even though the thanksgiving holiday is over, there is still so much to be thankful for. I feel there will always be something to be thankful for, you just have to look for it. And I feel those things should be celebrated all year round. How much leftovers did you have left? That's one thing I am sure thankful for.

@T_gray I sure it was, how cold is it there not, not frost. It's gotten cooler here this last 24 hours or so.

"Laying salt on the side walks after the winter storm we had. It took 30 minutes to thaw my car" I'm sorry--but that's why I live in South Florida--we are having a 'cold wave'--it will go down to 71 degrees tonight!!! Do I miss the 4 seasons? NO!

Pretty ingenious using a credit card to scrape your windshield

it did work pretty well. I used it all winter last year, of course last winter we didn't have a bad winter at all when it came to scraping windows

I'm glad you had a great Thanksgiving. No leftovers, my Thanksgiving was in a restaurant. I agree, there is always something to be thankful for.

It doesn't sound such a good idea scraping ice off with a credit card. Lucky they are tough. It would be terrible if it stopped working.

oh it was just a prepaid card that I didn't really need...and it did break in half...but I still used it. It surprisingly worked well..haha
