If you get woke up in the middle of the night, what do you do? Do you go back to bed or do you have an activity you do?
Tonight when I got up, I went through my closet looking for random objects. Still can't find the stuff. Then, well I got on the computer and wound up here.
I hope to go back to bed. Wish me luck.

I do not wake up in the middle of the "night" unless I am not feeling good. I usually take medicine and try to rest regardless.

@rajindia53 I do wish meditation would work. My problem is my children waking me up. What's worse is the dog wakes me up to. I sleep 2-4 hours at a time.

I open my laptop and start watching some show till I start to drift in the sleepy-land again!! And isn't the sleep we get after such an interruption just beautiful???

@Rationalwriter I try to find something that is calming for me that I won't get too interested in. Usually an old movie. If I can find black and white that's even better.

That is too funny. I do agree. What is that about anyway. Your body takes that long to process the water so it can certainly wait a few more hours to flush itself. Besides, it's not like you are up in the middle of the night guzzling water.

@msiduri Oh that is too funny! I remember as a kid doing that. UGH. I grew up knowing one thing, always take toilet paper with you when you leave the house. And whatever you do, if you have to go when you are drunk, take your pants off. Luckily, I didn't have that experience.
