But, I feel my body give respond on my mind. Yes, now I am so sad. I am so sad with my financial problem that become so worse. What do you think, do you believe sadness can result an illness?

Yes as a patient of depression and social anxiety. I can tell you that if sadness remains longer, you get sad even by watching beautiful things in life. So you have to create a new script in mind telling yourselves that 'all is well' and 'life is good'. That way you don't end up depressed. It is hard for me but I work on this everyday.

I am sorry to hear that. It sounds like that you are feeling really not well. If you don't plan to go to see a doctor, then you should have a good rest. I know eating bananas and chocolates can make people feel happy. If you have the appetite, you can try some. Be sure the sad mood will have an effect on the health. Scientists already proved it. So try to relax and believe that everything will be better.

Yes, I do believe emotional will affect physical health. Once I was very stressful and nervous at work, and it made me quite sick physically. Sorry to hear that you are feeling sick and having worries about your financial problems. I understand being worried, as I used to worry quite a lot, but I also understand worrying doesn't help anything, but make our emotional and physical unhealthy. As your problem is about financial, perhaps a solid plan for your financial helps. I am not good at financial management, but I just think if we have a plan, write down what we are worrying, what we can do, etc, it might help to lessen the worries. Sometimes, we get too worry because our mind frighten ourselves too much, the reality might not be that scary. Moreover, with something listed down and a plan in hand, we might feel better. I also understand your financial problem might involve your husband as well. When it relates to another person, we really have no control. Try to talk to him and hope he will understand the difficult situation, and works this out together with you. If you have any religious belief, maybe praying and meditation help as well. Hope you will feel much better soon.

It's the anxiety that is causing you to feel this way. Anxiety alerts the immune system to be "on guard"....sometimes it even tells it to attack. Which is why you feel ill, when we get sick, we feel ill because of our immune systems fighting an intruder. My doctor explained all of this to me. So try not to let anxiety take over, or your body will respond in a negative way and see it as a threat.

From a scientific standpoint sadness has clear physical side effects, even though some mechanisms are still unknown. So, yes I do believe that sadness can result in illness. Sadnessis a kind of stress, and when we feel sad our brains attempt to remedy the situation by releasing a hormone called cortisol. Unfortunately, too much cortisol can become dangerous. Your body sees high levels of cortisol as a sign of mortal danger. To protect ourselves, because our bodies are pretty smart, the body goes into energy saving mode, which means the immune system will suffer. That leads to illness.

Don't be sad because things don't remain the same , with that hope you can overcome sadness which in itself would help you become more positive ! May be look for opportunities to make some extra money. There was another member here having similar problems sometime back and I was suggesting that she could do something from home like supplying home cooked food to office goers or others ...There are many such options !
