you start a discussion over how to make more money through mylot. likes and comments begin to rain on you. Every mylot-ian post a comment and guides you how to make money. comments keep coming for 2 to 3 days. Seems like a good topic. why is it so? I tried to start a discussions on Creative ways of proposing to your GF/BF, looks like failed to attract Mylot-ians. Got one or few likes and couple comments by few generous Mylot-ians. How you guys bring new discussions to table? Need some tips.

To attract viewers, you need to be known and there is only one way to become popular, visit a lot of discussions and leave comments. You will notice that there is a (number) on the right of our username, this number represents all our interactions, the bigger the number the more people have worked hard on the site.

Part of what you're saying is very very true. However, I do visit tons and tons of people's discussions, leaves tons of comments, and nobody responds back let alone reads a fraction of what I've posted. It depends on interest and what people are interested in if they read it or not. Plus over 40 percent of the comments I leave behind go unanswered. So even if you do this it is a chance nobody will even answer you back. I've left comments on a large number of your posts. But I don't always see you on mine. So how does it really work? I'm not sure.

Our dear friend @LadyDuck has explained the secret of getting more responses and I more or less agrees with her views. Also, users generally prefer to respond to lighter posts and such posts to which they could relate to. If you start a discussion on any serious topic, there are chances that you may not get many responses. By now you would have understood that key to success here is more and more interaction, more you interact, more likely you are going to earn. Don't feel disappointed when you receive less number of responses, you have spent few days here on the revamped mylot, as much as you remain active here, number of responses to your discussions will automatically increase. Best of luck.

@rocky1980 - Simple formula is - more time you spend here, more you interact here with fellow mylotters, more are the chances of you getting more responses. Our best wishes are with you.

I have already started working on that number, good advise. On the third day, the response i have got here is more than what I have expected. I have been lucky since started this discussion. I started with negative thought that this might end up like the previous ones. Right now I need to pat myself.

Actually I usually just write about what is happening in my life. Another topic that seems to draw a lot of interest is pets, especially cats. Of course that is only my opinion.

Not everybody will play your game. I HATE posts that say "I'm new, how do I earn money". I'd like to see them barred.

Join the crowd. This seems to be the norm here on the site. Many people have pointed this out and for some reason they are flooded with comment. You report something important that could cause a person to loose some valuable or even other stuff and you're right you might be a few likes and not so many comments. Seems the only way to get anywhere on here is to always talk about mylot and how to make money then you are guaranteed to win the jackpot and get a lot of people to see you and notice you. Shame I thought there would be more to this but looks like this is all people are interested in.

I tried to start a discussion that if someone asks for tips on how to make more money in here and what he is supposed to do, it seems like then, the entire world of Mylot will begin to post their suggestions. I participated in many discussion in which I observed that many commenters are reserved only to few topics of their interest. I hope the world of Mylot is not divided or limited to certain communities. then what difference is between the real world and virtual world. I don't know whether I have been able to put my point well or not.

@poehere that's true, I am beginning to believe this. In the last two days I have felt this thing too. If you want to get noticed easily, just add mylot in your tittle. It's SEO content writing something using it as a Keyword.

@rocky1980 Another person on this site pointed this one out. She said that the best discussion on the site that attract the most people was to use MyLot in your title. I think she might be right on this one.

That made me laugh for a second....and then I actually thought about it. I don't know why this is. Could be that some discussions are just easier to talk about than others. Not sure. And it could also be that a lot of people are only here for the money. I am sure the majority of people here love being here but there would also be a wide variety of people who are all about the money and try to get help with it.

I don't know actually. because I don't think they can make much money by being here and become rich. It just social networking site. Yes ofcourse a very friendly environment and nice and easy to get into a discussion and get noticed. a couple of minutes ago i was reading a post how to copy and paste is easy to learn. He got many likes and comments. then there is one more post which said " i made 10 dollars after 37 days. I think that he did it early. it also got good number of likes and comments.

The more you respond to others' discussions, the more they are bound to notice you. If your name keeps cropping up several times, a greater number of mylotters will check your profile and hence they will contribute to your posts too. Giving = Receiving is the policy of how mylot works.

@ria1606roy I really liked this suggestion, I have received so many suggestions here so far but this "keeping discussion broad and interactive is a bit technical" so far one of best. I have picked few best ones and going to implement this too in the next post. thanks.

@rocky1980 no doubt after a few days you are getting the hang of it! And the other leg of my suggestion is, keep your discussion broad and interactive, throw in your thoughts. People will more likely relate to or contradict your view, so the discussion increases and so does money earnings.

Never expect to make money at myLot. Come here to interact and make new friends. Lots of interesting discussions are here too... Just comment comment comment and get noticed.. then start posting for people to comment on your post. That's what senior and experienced mylotians told me.

I think the kind of topic you post is a factor but it is not just the topic but also the connections you have around. Just connect and interact with supportive people and you will surely get responses from them. But first of course, you must prove yourself very supportive too so you will get their support in return.

I think many users here are either singles with no intention of getting married, or studying or already have a family. When your discussion is for young people who want to get married, there is not many people in the targeted category

don't know what to say, happy to see finally I post a discussion which actually managed to pull few Mylot-ians. Money is not the issue in here, with this money won't become rich, however meeting new friends and knowing them and learning from them is good experience. I agree with fact that someone with more money comes and destroys our spirits.
