Favorite thing about Christmas....

Holidays have always been a hard time for me. Maybe it's the winter depression, I'm not sure, but some years are easier then others. Usually when I'm in a relationship, I try to cheer myself up for the sake of my partner. This year I'm pretty much single and have no one to cheer myself up for.... But I'm going to try anyway....because I have this new outlook that I'm trying to think more positive about things, so that includes Christmas, right? So my favorite thing to do during the holidays is to get some hot cocoa, or cappuccino and drive around the neighborhood and look at Christmas lights on houses. We have some pretty awesome neighborhoods in my town with beautiful light shows every year. The best thing is when I have people to do this with. So this year, I'm grabbing my bestie and heading out.... What is your favorite thing about Christmas? Or your favorite things to do?

We also like to drive around and see the Christmas lights. We usually do this on Christmas Eve.

I do it before that cause the neighborhoods I like to go to tend to get pretty busy at that time. But that sounds pretty cool too. :-)

I like that my relatives that live in other parts of my country or other countries in the world, they all come back for Christmas and we celebrate a special meeting. Other than that, I usually find Christmas true spirit (aka Jesus) annoying. In my case it's not due to the winter since there's no winter here.

We used to take my Mum out in the car and drive around looking at all the lights. Enjoy yourself with your bestie!

It is more of the cheery spirit that i love. Christmas is always spent with my family. Hoping we are going to see the movies together again this year.
