Night Time Panick

United Kingdom

About a week ago me and my partner were getting ready to go to bed and I started feeling uneasy and I didn't know why. We got into bed and it got worse I started panicking that the house wasn't locked up properly but was too scared to go and check and Stewart kept insisting that everything was locked up. It got worse and worse until I was 100% convinced that someone was going to break into the house and hurt me or Vinnie and that Stewart wouldn't wake up. I know how crazy this sounds but it was horrible I was seriously scared for no reason. Do you ever have episodes like this ?

What a terrible night you must have had. I guess it's what's called a panic attack. We had torrential rain once and I really thought our big bus had slipped down the hill a little and might slip more and end up in the house. It's an awful feeling. It would perhaps have helped if your husband had just gone around and checked all the locks for you.

@shellyjaneo I remember having coffee at an outdoor venue once and the pigeons were quite tame. A girl at a nearby table was absolutely petrified of the birds but her companions thought it was funny. I have a friend who can't stand feathers so I really felt for this lass. The odd thing was that one bird seemed intent on getting close to this girl.

I probably would have worried about something like that, I do worry when the weather is really bad. I think it probably was a panic attack, I don't suffer with them usually though. He is a wind up and finds it really funny to wind me up. I don't think he realised how scared I really was though x

@JudyEv It does seem like that sometimes, ,my sister is terrified of spiders and it is like they torment her on purpose, I am not scared of them and they leave me alone. He just doesn't get it at all, he is so chilled out nothing stresses him out even things that really should x

I've had them a few times, sometimes it turns out my suspicions are correct, other times, I'm totally wrong. Doesn't make it less scary though..

Sometimes I have bad feelings like that, but usually something bad does happen when I have them.
