Friend Time

Life's been incredibly hectic lately (always). Yesterday I had lunch with friends. Tonight I had dinner with a different set of friends. Wednesday I have bookclub with some other friends. Seems like this is how it happens. I'll go for awhile without much "friend time" and then BAM, it's all at once. I take it when I can get it!

We all need time with friends. I don't have any where I live now and I do miss those times.

@Marilynda1225 I feel that way too. And I sure can't become good friends with any of my neighbors as we live in student housing (my brother manages the apartments) and these kids are over 35 years younger than I am...lol.

I allot time for 'acquaintances and friends and myself--I don't allow one to interfere with the other--my priorities. I have X amount time and I know how I want to spend it. :O)

life with kids seems to always take priority, though, thankfully, that often includes friend time too

Friend time is a wonderful thing. It would be nice to have more balance, right? But, as you said, take it while you can get it.

All of my friends live out of town or state.
