Responses Vs Comments

This may seem like a really silly question but what is the difference between a Response and a comment and are they both included underneath the post ?
Is it that the first comment from any individual is the response and any subsequent comments are comments ?
Sorry if this is really silly but I am just curious x

It is like lamb explained, that whenever someone posts from the discussion itself it is a response, and when you post back to them, it is a comment, and so forth.It is like here right now you hae 3 responses, and once I post mine it will be 4. You will always have more comments than responses, as the comments will go on after people stop posting responseses.

Yes so when people are sort of having a mini discussion under a response those are comments that makes sense I guess, thank you x

Sort of looks like this one was said. But it is not too hard to figure out. When you go to a post and read you will see a response with an arrow pointing to the left. After when you go under your comment it says comment. So this is how you tell the difference on there. It is a little backwards if you ask me. It should be comment then response. So just look at it upside down and you'll be fine.

Haha that sounds like a plan I will rotate my screen. It does seem a bit strange to me as well that's why I was asking really in case I was missing something x
