Summer in Mexico

A few summers ago I spent a happy week at a small village in Mexico. The moment I got to that sacred place, I felt myself in an atmosphere of peace. Beautiful natural surroundings, small houses, kind people. The center of the village has a few streets, the municipal hall, a church, a few stores and that is all. People have small lots where they grow corn, beans, squash and other vegetables. I enjoyed my stay. I am happy to have visited that part of Mexico up on the mountains where it is cold at night and warm during the day.

I have come across a place now and then with that level of peace, it's quite nice.

I guess that is really a nice place. As you described it, I really love to see a place like that. I really like peaceful and quiet places.

Many years ago I visited Mexico for two weeks with a guided tour. It was fascinating for us.
