Namecheap is offering registration of a domain name just for $1 for the period of 12 months. However, the offer is valid just until December 31st. XYZ is the extension you will have to use for the domains you bought for $1.

whenever ive made a site ive always gone through godaddy or one&one...always found them pretty good.
they quite often offer similar deals but they include hosting and site building too.
