Random Word Post – compote

I find a random word by flipping through a dictionary or using a random word generator and write a quick – often silly – little post about it. # This has two meanings which are … connected, but are very different. The first is “fruit stewed or preserved in syrup.” Which is interesting, and makes me a little hungry. The second definition is “a dish for holding fruits, etc.” so a fruit bowl. I guess you can have a compote of compotes.
