Mars inhabitable in years to come??

So in multiple documentaries experts are certain that by between 2020 and 2030 mars will be inhabitable. With reasons to believe that over the years to come that when temperature rises, water from underneath the north and south polar ice caps of dry ice shall be released and able to flow freely again aswell as other hypothesis. What do we think?

Who knows about that. I know they are preparing for the Mars Project coming around 2025. I think that's when the first ship is supposed to make it's journey there with regular people. And it is a one way trip.

@Auntylou I'm not going. And besides, the people that are volunteering have to go through strenuous physical and mental testing. So not anyone is a candidate.

I think that anything is possible, and know they are hoping that is the case, because they need to believe if earth is destroyed there is somewhere else mankind can start over.

@Auntylou , it is a strange thought to think of having to travel through space for somewhere to start over, I rather hope earth will somehow survive all we are putting it through.

@bluesa Me too, and at least we know some of the things we are doing wrong and have good minds working on the problems

But what a weird thought to be sent off into space, never to return to the world we know, though maybe that will really not exist by then

Hummm, maybe not that soon, but perhaps someday. I still think those lil martians who invaded earth all those millennia ago after destroying mars are our ancestors .... what do you think?

Considering we're sending hapless men and women into orbit around our planet makes me wonder where we get the notion we're the first to try @Auntylou I still don't believe we're the only intelligent life in the universe.
