What a boring day it is !!

For the first time, since the day I joined, I am getting bore in mylot. For the last two days, I am not finding much interesting discussions to participate, I mean as per my choice. Today is the worst day so far in Mylot.
In the interesting discussion catergory, it displays old discussion which I am seeing for last couple of days except a few. The same thing is with top rated and most recent categories.
I think people are busy with their christmas preparation. shopping and buying gifts and presents for their family and loved ones or something.
Posted many comments for the last couple of days, but it seems like everyone is busy with their thing and finding it difficult to reply. Not much activity, here in Mylot.
It feels like I should take some time off mylot and do something else. Come back on Jan 1st, 2016. And start over.
What should I do, any suggestion??
Is there anyone who feels the same way?

This is a busy time of year and many people won't be spending a lot of time on here. I always manage to find things to read and comment on.

Past two days been very boring. I myself not spending much time here and my wifi is also not working properly, I mean it's slow, on and off. I am thinking to take off few days.

I think you are right with what you said. People would have been busy trying to prepare everything for Christmas and just too busy to be on the internet let alone MyLot. MyLot really does take up a lot of time.

I spent whole day scanning and scrolling the page up and down. I couldn;t find anything which could interest me, still trying to find something.
Without @Mike197602 this day could have been worse. Thanks to mike he saved my day. thanks for your kind suggestion.

@rocky1980 Perhaps what you find boring, someone else might find interesting.
Frankly, I do not find much spare time here on myLot to advise you on this score. What I would say: Keep looking ; perhaps you may find an article which is not too boring or another one, from which you could learn something. Good Luck!

@sallypup I always look for discussions which I can relate too. For the last one week, I haven't found much discussions I can participate in. I felt boring to spend time in mylot. I can read anything as long as I enjoy reading it. And I also do not like read 1000 words post/discussions on serious topics. I think we all are here to discussion general topics, share our experiences. I read few discussions, they were discussing world war 3. Although you are free to discuss anything you like, but I think these kind of discussion look good on tv, and college for competition purposes, but not in mylot. I personally take interest in sharing personal experiences of life, movies, poetry, stories etc. I do not like discussing terrorism, ISIS, world war 3, etc.

yes, this site has slow times.
You need to just interact with people you may not be massively interested in.
You can often pick up friends like that.
Otherwise make up some nice discussions and try to kickstart the slow times...there will always be someone who will respond.
Maybe you'll get a top quality member like me appear

Yeah that's what I thought, everyone is busy in Christmas preparations, shopping and buying presents for their loved ones. Mylot seems a bit slow these days. Not much activities to follow in mylot this month I suppose.
