Green Tea- Will help you to loose weight

I have read in several articles that taking green tea every day for 3 to 4 times a day will result in weight loss. I initially used to have a doubt whether this would actually work but finally given a try one month back and I found that its absolutely correct. I started taking green tea around 3 times a day along with Small work outs for about 30 minutes in the morning and I am able to achieve 7 kgs weight loss in around 3 weeks, I was surprised at the results and still I am in dilemma as to what worked in my favour. Is it really Green Tea or the workouts? Could anyone of you share your experience, if you have given a try of drinking green tea, whether it showed any positive results of weight loss in your case

It will be a combination of the both. Green tea will increase the metabolism slightly so all other things being equal may help you lose a small amount of weight. Your work outs have probably been more of a contributing factor but keep up both if it is working. Green tea isn't bad for you so you might as well carry on x

@parpande That is true it all adds up and if you normally have sugar in your tea you would be saving extra calories x

Truly said , besides I feel having green tea is synonymous of having tea without milk . This certainly lowers down some calories along with added leverage of its antioxidant natural benefits .

I put my money on the work outs. I've tried green tea. I find the taste vile.

It tastes vile when you first start drinking it but you get used to it and it becomes quite pleasant after a while x

@shellyjaneo Why should I torture myself until the liking sets in? I'll stay with black tea.

It's lies. Our family drinks green tea daily and lots of it. They've got a few non exercise diets on Youtube that involve drinking green tea. Some want you to "move up" to Oolong tea a few days later. Never worked for me. It's definitely the exercise that is helping you.

I think it is because of the workouts that you were able to lose weight rather than because of green tea..I have green tea occasionally but to lose weight one has to be consistent about balanced diet, plenty of water and exercise..

It probably is the working out for the most part. I have been trying to figure out if drinking cold green tea like bought in stores would work but I have assumed not and green tea home made is not the best taste in the world
