Hello Lotters,
I don't know which one of you had in the 90's and watch the first movie but this was one of my all time favorite movies back in 1996. The film gave me a huge impact that sometimes i would stare at the skies or the moon to check if there's a giant thingy roaming around in space.
After the first movie, I was worried and hoping if there's going to be sequel. In those years, it was kinda disappointing seeing those fake trailers and all. But here we are 2016, there's sequel and something we didn't expect.
I am looking forward to this movie, even though it may not be the same excitement we used to have back in the 90s were special effects graphics were not used much. I won't speculate much, a lot of people have different theories on this next movie.
We always knew they were coming back. After INDEPENDENCE DAY redefined the event movie genre, the next epic chapter delivers global spectacle on an unimagina...

Good catch. I rarely know what new movies are coming out save a few. The technology looks amazing in this movie. It's nice to know people didn't waste all the alien devices on another war among themselves and worked to build a better future.

I saw like last night @OneOfMany and I doubt it was the main focus from other netizens because they were other movies that's going to come out next year. It would be something good to watch but it's just too much special effects though.

@Letranknight2015 I'd say a big focus is on Star Wars in 4 days. Then after that there should be quite a few.

Hello @salonga unfortunately, there's also Xmen Apocalypse, Captain America: Civil War and Game of thrones (series not movie) this coming 2016. So, not sure if people would have focused much on this movie though. The first time I've watch this movie was in the CD, then enjoyed it from the cables stations. too bad though will smith isn't in the movie.

I watched this movie in cinema when I was in high school, it's been 20 years! I liked the movie very much. I didn't know there is a sequel for this movie. After watching the trailer you shared, I am really interested to watch it. It's the kind of movie I enjoy watching. I'd like to see the unity of people.
