11th Day before Christmas

On the 11th day before Christmas and all through the house right now, no one is stirring except me (even Cujo and Dixie is asleep) and so I sit here and read and write while thanking God for the season and the reason for it. Even though the date of Jesus birth is not December but either September or spring time (the times of the year when shepherds would have been in the fields) It is good to reflect and give thanks for this birth.
