Tuesday, December 15, 2015.
Started around 6:30 am. It's now 8:05 pm as I update this. HP time aka PST USA.
This is a first. Can't wait to find out what's going on.
I'll update here as information comes to light.
Has anyone else heard anything?
Update, December 16, 2015. Whatever was going on appears to be highly localized. Quantcast and such show nothing unusual. I guess I just got lucky, so to speak. Glad I didn't broadcast the outage on my website.

I didn't get onto HubPages until early afternoon, and had no problems. Seems like a temporary glitch.

Looks like down again. And these guys are saying it's been going on for hours and hours and hours..., Can scroll down for more info.
Check and see if HubPages is down for everyone at the moment, explore its historical availability and outage data.

I have never checked out HubPages. I hope for your sake they get it up and running again. I would love to get involved in a couple other writing sites.

@websitewithnoname I have actually thought about doing that, but do not have the foggiest idea as to how to begin. I think I will talk to my son about it. But, I would not want it to be like any of the ones I have already seen. I have a totally different idea that I think just might work for serious writers.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. Most writing sites cannot afford high-end servers with active fail-over protocols. It will be back up in a few hours I am sure.

I'm not worried either. In fact, we'll all torture them about it on the forums when they are back online.
