Knowing/Discovering Who You Are

One of the most interesting things that I have discovered over time is that we don't always change. We improve who we are because the personality we have is what it is from the start. When we are young, we are full of energy with a vitality that surpasses most people. We start to spread our wings for independence. Some accomplish it very well while others struggle a good portion of their lifetime. I'm glad to say that I have never really changed who I am. If anything, I have done nothing but learn about myself allowing me to see from my inner eye. Some call it soul searching. You can find yourself through meditation, yoga, contemplation, private moments; or maybe you go on an adventure across the country. Maybe you decide to travel to other seas. People can call it what they want but for myself I have noticed that the personality itself doesn't really change. It becomes enhanced one way or another. That's a great personal enrichment. No one can take that away from you now. That is yours and people can either delight in it with you or go their own way. Take a chance and dig within yourself. Have you found yourself? Are you still looking for yourself? Are you satisfied with what you see? You'll know contentment once you can answer these.

@Missmwngi I have most of myself rediscovered but am looking back on life often to find that I just didn't recognize it back then.

People can also develop in a negative way. No murderer was born as one.

@MALUSE Yes but those develop from influences even as a very young child.
