Dress Recycling! Be Smart and Trendy :) / myLot

This is so me! I try not to buy new dress everytime I have an event to attend but i make sure that they wont see me in the same dress twice ^_^ I am an event host and its a must that i have a lot of dresses so my portfolio wont be so boring and so repetitive,,,so what i do is RECYCLE! :) get old dresses from my closet talk to my awesome momma and tell her what i would like it to be after alteration... This is my newest recycled..not fully done yet thinking of adding another layer at the bottom to lengthen it a little more this used to be 3/4 sleeved dress what i asked my mom to do is cut the sleeves and put black cloth to the side and to midrib :p good or nah? :)

Very good. You could use this as a business idea! Revamp old clothes. There may be a market for this.

It's a pretty dress. I can't remember when the last time a got a new dress was. I get most of my chothing from secondhand stores or other people.

i recycle old dresses a lot :) just pick one in the closet and make it look new hahaha

I love the fabric! I think that it would work, just be sure not to wear it too soon after the first wear because the fabric is very distinctive. I think it would be lovely with sew on "jewels" on it.
