~Always Important To Read Everything~

If there is just one thing that MyLot has taught me (I have learned much more than one thing) it is to read everything before reacting or commenting. That helps in all aspects of life really. We should always read something through before responding in any way. I made a boo boo today when I did not read all the way through. I know better I am now thinking to myself! I signed up to win a mini vacation for my family. It all sounded good...until I realized it said at the bottom- if we are chosen it must be used by January 3rd. Crud! We wont have the gas and everything to go that soon. Oh well, lesson learned...again! Always read to the end of everything-it is important!

I absolutely agree, especially before signing something or it could turn out to be disastrous!

@Mysdianait That's true it could lead to many problems if you don't read things before signing. I usually read all the fine print and everything, I think excitement got the best of me this time.

I hope for your sakes that you don't win. How awful to win and not be able to take the prize.

The last little catch at the end can really cause a problem.

I always read everything through before doing anything online. There's too many scams out there so you just never know

I wonder why the tight deadline. If they are really interested to give away the mini vacation, they should extend it to end March. That is a more reasonable time for people to get ready for the vacation.

@scheng1 I don't know, it is really short notice for something like that.

Those chances to win holidays usually have a catch to them. I mean, even if you had the gas money you'd be unlikely to want to go at such short notice. They just want your details so that they can bombard you with adverts.
