Dinner in the Cafeteria

Cafeteria food is variable. Sometimes it is pretty good while other times it is awful. Tonight I had a hamburger that was begging for its life. I had French fries that wanted to arm wrestle me. The roll was hard. It would make a good door knocker. The salad was in tears. As for the apple pie, it was not delicious. The crust was in retreat. So much for my cafeteria meal.

I work in a hospital and sometimes the cafeteria food is good and other times it is not. I mostly bring my meals to work so i don't have a bad meal again

Sounds like it was pretty horrible for you today. I know some places I have been thinking the food would be gross but turned out to be delicious.
