Online / Offline Notification

I always have some problem knowing who's online and who's offline in myLot...i will know when they last logged on, but i will not know whether are they still log in. Do you think it's good idea to have a button below our avatar to indicate whether are we online/offline/busy?

Yeh i think that would be a great idea aswell hey at least you got more responce to your topic on improving my lot lol i only have you on my page selector topic about them being at the bottom :) hope your having a nice day :)

Yes it is very good idea to have online/offline indicator. I hope mylot team will look into this one.

I think its a great idea.. I have the notify button turned to on for all my friends.. Omg.. I get so much email though and when i can't make it on here i get like 500 at one time.. So many..

oh! i'm referring to notication to tell you whether that member is currently online or offline...so that even when you want to send a private message, you will know that he/she will reply immediately

That's a great idea. Though I never logout:)
I go with you. Hopefully myLot will upgrade it.
It's not only online/offline/busy, but maybe add some icons like in the MSN or Yahoo Messenger.

Is good idea for that or maybe they can do as what the others doing now....launch a messenger on mylot so as we can have more choices instead of responses and wait for the comments. As for now we can only guess on it and that make mylot users very hard to interact with each other which I don't really think many will always use private messages on mylot to make their contact. Normally I know that someone was log on on mylot by their last responses timing.

yes! me too...when i saw any of my friends responding to discussions, then i will have to quickly send them a private message. Thanks for your support on this, my friend!

Yes, I think that's a great idea. Mylot should look into it. As it is now we have to go into their profile to see whether they are online or offline and even then you are not sure about it (some of the people just close the window when they leave instead of signing out, so they are shown as online) So if mylot shows some sort of icon under people's avatars then that'll aslos increase the quality of the discussion. Because then people will know who is online and who isn't and they will quickly respond back to the responses and comments from people who are online.

yeah! or maybe they can have other notifications like 'idle', 'away', 'busy' someway for us to know whether the member is online or not...Thanks for your response!

it is a good idea. in my community, multiply.com, we can see who's online and who's not. they also tell when was the last time a person logged in to the system.

great idea. and maybe instead of just being able to PM friends, there'd be an instant box for chatting too. that would be cool :)

I think that is a gret idea! Why don't you suggest that to myLot by sending them a private message. I'm sure they would be interested in hearing what users would like to see in the upgrades. I mean, that is why they have upgrades, right?

He...really a nice idea, which will work if mylot people consider this.Why don't you suggest mylot to do somechanges like this.Even i was thinking on theses line...it would be very nice for evryone who is working..isn't it? good

yeah it's really a time consuming that you have to go through a friend's profile first just to see if they've been online. and i support you having a button that lights up whenever the member is online so that we will know if they are still there or not, hope mylot will do this soon:)

I think it's a great idea. But I've been having trouble logging off. So, people would think that I don't get any sleep. I hope I will be able to log off soon.

I think it is a really good ideal. That way, if you had a question for a particular person you don't have to wait a whole day for a response. You can just wait until their back online to ask.
