Christmas has come to an end. After seeing my mom and her family on Christmas' eve, and then seeing my husband's family on Christmas (yesterday), the festivities have come to an end. I have to say, it has been fun. The kids seem to have enjoyed opening their presents, and seemed to have had fun seeing family. All in all, it has been fun. It's been a good year. Although we may go out this afternoon to pick up a thing or two, we'll be resting this morning. We don't have much planned today. How was your Christmas? I hope it was all good.

I'm glad it's over but sad to see my son leaving today to go back to college. No classes for another couple of weeks but he is a grad student and has research to do. I am going out for one thing today. A grocery store in our area is having a lobster sale and I'm going to get some.

It can't be easy to see him go, but such is life. I'd love to be able to eat more lobster. Hopefully soon. Enjoy your lobster.

Sounds like you had fun. My boyfriend had to have his appendix removed Christmas morning, but thankfully was out and about a few hours after and got to spend the rest of Christmas with us. His parents made it here Tuesday and we had a second Christmas of sorts and we got to spend some time with them. Happy new year by the way, and I hope it brings about a great year for you. Maybe next Christmas will be better yet. I sure hope next year for me will end with no family members in the ER (we seriously need to break that tradition).
