The Colour Therapy is an ancient practice known to Egyptians and Greeks. The Therapy deals with colors and color combinations as well for ailments. The use of medicines has no place in color therapy. But, in the place of medicines, the method uses various oils herbal extracts having different colors The Therapy strongly believes that there is nothing other than color which controls the human lives. In color therapy, the white light which is a composition of 7 colors known in short as VIBGYOR is used in curing various diseases along with individual colors. As per this theory each color in the white light is associated with an organ / system in the human body. If a man sits in meditation it is the white light which the Hypothalamus absorbs and split it into seven colors and each will be distributed to the associated organs in the body. If this distribution is affected and if there is an imbalance in the color the person will be affected by a disease associated with that organ. Now by an external application if the balance is achieved in that particular color the person can be cured of his disease. If we take a spectrograph of visible light the spectrum gives a clear information of the wavelengths of each radiation having the particular color. Each color indicates a definite amount of energy associated with each frequency. If any deficiency in the color is felt it appears in the form of disease associated with the cells of the organs. This deficiency in color can be rectified by supplying in appropriate proportions the color /energy that is found deficient. A lot of research has been taken up in the field of Color Therapy and it has been established that the red color acts as a stimulant of blood and the colors yellow and orange act as nerve stimulants. The Blue and violate colors act as soothing and anti-inflammatory agents and affect the human system. The patients of tuberculosis have been treated using sunlight and the scars of a smallpox patient have been cured using the red light. But, still the modern scientists are not agreeing on the Color Therapy as a rational one for want of more scientific explanation which can not be corroborated with laboratory experiments.

It is just inexpensive. But, one should have confidence. I too did not believe it first. But, after a thorough examination of various documents and their authenticity I had to accept it.
