It's my birthday! Praise God!

At this age, I'm thankful for another birthday! It's been really great; it's one of those that goes on for days 
My husband took me to the beach at Nags Head, NC for an overnight trip. We stayed at a beautiful cottage right on the ocean. Sat out on the gazebo, walked on the sand, even had a gorgeous full moon! Ate some great seafood and enjoyed a little shopping, even though a lot of places are closed this time of year.
Before that, we met some of our kids for a birthday lunch. Next week my husband's taking me on an all-day shopping trip to Raleigh. Looking forward to that also.
Hope you guys all had a wonderful and blessed Christmas. We had a couple of issues to work around, but so much to be thankful for. Our little great-grandbaby was such a joy.

Happy birthday to you! I am glad to hear that you had a good one and you get to celebrate it with your loved one. I used to dread the numbers that gets added on my age every time I celebrate a birthday, until my cousin got really sick and I realized that life is a gift and must not be taken for granted.
