Named for the constellation, this poetry form has (in the "basic" form) seven lines. In the "basic" form, each line began with the first letter of the one-word title. There was no rhyme or meter required.

New Years become old;
Now, the present
Never live in the past.
Naysayers leave behind, let the Lord
Navigate your course; every
Need you have, He will meet.

That is very interesting. I never heard of that form of poetry before. Is it something new? There is a constellation named Pleiades, also known as the seven little eyes. That must be why it is 7-7.
