What a Sad Way to End a College Football Career

Trevone Boykin, a star quarterback for the TCU Horned Frogs, has been suspended for the final game of his NCAA college football career. Early Thursday morning he was arrested after getting into a fight at a bar in San Antonio, Texas, where he was to play in the Alamo Bowl for TCU on Saturday against the Oregon Ducks. Among the charges are intoxication (at least he was of legal age), fighting, and hitting a police officer. Later in the morning the university announced that Boykin, a senior, is suspended for the Alamo Bowl. Instead of going out on top, in front of a national audience in a prestigious bowl game, he has to worry about getting an attorney and facing the charges against him. Given the NFL's pathetic record on criminal activity (it actually made headline news earlier this year when it was announced that no NFL players had been arrested in a month!) it will probably not affect his draft stance. Still, what a sad way for someone to end their college football career. The worst part of it: if you didn't know, TCU's name is Texas Christian University.

Kobe Bryant of NBA also will also end his career sadly. During his stardom in his first years, he gained victories and accomplishments. But year 2010 and above, his fame rusted and now he thinks it's time to retire. It's so sad to know that an athlete will retire sadly.
