can you recommend me a good tv series?

it has been a while since I watched a good tv series. now I'm in the mood of seeing something interesting but I can't decide. I came here to ask for some recommendation. so please help me. no comedy movies please: I would like something deeper that gets me thinking

I have not watched it in a few seasons but I would recommend Criminal Minds or Law&Order SVU. Maybe even something like The Leftovers

@swissheart leftovers: On Oct 14th people all over the world vanish and the series is about how people coupe with that while trying to figure out why some people vanished well others did not

I always like a good mystery, so I'd recommend TV shows like Lost or Alias.

@swissheart It's a show about a spy who works as a "double agent". Has lots of mystery elements which evolve during the course of the show.

Some time ago I watched a TV series called Breaking Bad and it is good. How about The Big Bang Theory and it is a funny TV series. I heard The Wire is excellent but I haven't watched it yet. It will be my watch list and I shall watch it when I have more free time later.

@swissheart It seems it is about the police and criminals. I am not sure about it since I haven't watched it yet. I just heard it was great via the net.

i recommend you watch the series: Revenge. it is an amazing serie about a girl which father is framed for a crime that he didnt commit and she will avenge what happened to him. its a great series. it has mistery and action and you never guess what will happen next. it is one of my favorites of all time.

you can watch in youtube "mind your language" british language comedy series released in 1970s and 1980s . 3 seasons are available with 29 episodes :) i enjoyed it very much. it is about foreign students learning english in classes :)
