Hi Mylot Friends, Pravasi Bharatiya Divas is celebrated in different cities yearly by Govt of India, this Pravasi Bharatiya Divas is celebrating second week of January. This year this celebration started from 8th January at New Delhi, there are 25 millions Non residents Indians through out the world. Several prominent people are in NRI are working in different fields. Millions of rupees are earning income by Indian Govt directly and indirectly. India is becoming famous through the achievements of these NRIs. Rastrapathi/President of India present the award of " Pravasi Bharathiya Smman" for deserved persons.

I think I have to look into this more. It sounds like an amazing celebration of India and it's people.
