Spending the Night in Davidson, NC / myLot

This is our third night on the road. We were in Mt. Cobb Pa at our cottage, Harrisonburg, Va. last night and tonight it's Davidson, NC. I came here to visit Rumor Mill which is multi dealer shabby chic/antique shop. I visited the shop this afternoon and bought quite a few things. It was even nicer than I expected. I put the things in our car already so no pics for now but they are all for the Florida house. We had Italian for dinner at a restaurant we could walk to and it was lovely. I had sweet potato gnocchi with Gorganzola sauce. It was yummy!!

@simone10 We are about 8 miles from I-75 on the southwest corner of town near the Hernando town line. It is pretty here.

It was quite mild and rich, it was a white sauce and the taste of the Gorganzola did not overwhelm the sweet potato. Gorganzola is like blue cheese in flavor.

I have Gorgonzola cheese in the refrigerator. I was asking this morning to my husband he if prefers gnocchi (no sweet potatoes!) or crêpes. He is still undecided.

@BelleStarr He asked for gnocchi for lunch and we are going to have Gorgonzola crêpes this evening. Finally instead of deciding he wanted both.

I haven't been following all your discussions so I am not sure whether you are on the road to relocate or on the road for pleasure. "Florida House" is that a main house or vacation home? Lived in Davidson for like the first two years of my life.
