Honesly it felt as if I was in a cartoon. My niece took my sister to the foot doctor. I followed in the truck, and parked in the next lot over because it felt too full at his office. As I approached the office I saw these little, fuzzy. . . squirrels ! come tearing around a corner, one right after the other. Four of them. Up on the sidewalk just outside the window of the waiting room. They chased one another under a car on the far side of the property. Then they all chased another direction. The leaders reversed and ran at the followers, who also reversed, and came running. Right back at me. If they would have been cartoon characters you would have seen them putting on their brakes in mid air and spreading their arms, their mouth wide open screaming Aaahhhh!!. It was not quite like that, but in my mind it could have been. I saw more squirrels around town. The squirrels this year look healthy and fat. Their fur seems thick and it is a dark rich brown. They look quite cuddly in fact. Nuts to you!! It is a lot of fun to see the wildlife having a blast.
