Mind works in mysterious ways

I find that my mind makes me want and do weird things. For example, I would be watching cooking channel all day, and get hungry, even though I might have just finished a really yummy meal.
Or it makes me want to pee when I realize that there is no bathroom around to be found, even though I might have peed just half an hour ago. Seriously, what is up with that?
Ever find yourself ducking when you drive from under a low bridge, even thought a big truck next to you can pass from under it just fine too?
What other ways do you think our mind messes with us?

I find myself walking carefully down stairs as if I might stumble or miss one - at other times I clear them three at a time

most of the time i forget stuffs on going to the bathroom, like for example a soap, .. i go out and try to look for it supposedly on the other bathroom, then i find myself on the fridge, looking for something, wondering what am I looking for.. when i go back in I remember that i'm actually looking for the soap..

Haha!! I know what you mean. Been there. Some say it's God playing Sims with us. :P

@trivia79 it's a game where u control the life of your characters. And sometimes u cancel a command in the middle of the execution of it. So your Sim basically stands in a room, not knowing why they're standing there. :D
